Caseg Fraith is a cosy hut in the heart of the Ogwen Valley in Snowdonia - with a wide range of activities on its doorstep! LUMC will be running a mixed trip to the hut on the weekend of the 4th Feb; combining both hiking/scrambling with climbing, on both days. There will be a choice each morning with which one you'd like to take part in. The type of climbing is dependent on weather conditions. We provide transport to and from the hut, along with a communal breakfast and an evening meal on both days (Saturday and Sunday). We'll be stopping at a supermarket on the way in order for people to buy lunches, snacks, and drinks. If you have any food allergies or dietary requirements please let a leader or organiser know! Since it's a weekend trip; bring along your 'sleepover kit', a travel pillow, towel, and a pair of climbing shoes if you plan on partaking in some climbing. If you'd like to partake in climbing but don't own a pair of shoes, we do have a selection of old shoes but cant guarantee they'll be in your size! You need AU membership to partake in this trip, and a negative LFT before departing (Thursday or Friday test). Tickets will go live 18:00 on Friday 28th January and will be first come first serve... however we have booked 40 beds at the hut so it should be easier to get a ticket this time round!

LUMC Christmas Meal
The Hope & Anchor
18:00 – 23:00
Hi all, It's that time of year again! The LUMC Christmas meal will be hosted at the Hope and Anchor on Thursday the 2nd of December starting at 6pm.  The meal will cost £13 for two courses and theres a varitety of options so pick whatever combo you want! You need to select the name of your food choices and we need responses by Friday 12pm. This is a link to the menu - (https://www.spccs1.co.uk/menus/CR%20Band%20C%20-%202021.pdf) you are choosing from the 2 course Festive Set Menu and need to pick a main and dessert. Christmas jumpers are mandatory (if you don't have one tinsel can be bought cheaply) and people will likely be going out after if you're more intrested in drinking than food ;) Edit - sorry just noticed the food options tick boxes are slightly wrong, when it says the "Festive Burger" it means the Fat Santa Burger, when it says the "Festive Spicy Bean Burger" it means the Elfishly Good Burger and when it says "Chocolate Salted Caramel Bar" it means the Cherry Brownie Cheesecake. Unfortunatley I can't redo the form as some people have already paid.
