Day trip to Windgather to teach some trad skills and have a fun time.  You must be able to lead belay/ lead climb competently.  By buying a free ticket you are committing to pay £15 to the club regardless of wether you end up coming. 

Tickets for this weekends walking trip to the Lakes. We'll be staying in a great location, by Blea Tarn in Langdale, which has loads of hills on the doorstep so we'll be spoilt for choice! You will also need dinner for Friday night, Breakfast and lunch for Saturday and Sunday, lots of snack, and alcohol if that's your thing! Don't worry about dinner on Saturday as it's included in the ticket and we will be cooking something that we can all eat together!

Weekend mixed trip to North Wales staying in Blaen Y Nant.... Potentially some trad climbing but it might be too icy so there will be scrambling and hiking too!

First walking trip of 2020!

Come and join us for a day of outdoor climbing! We'll be heading to Trevor Quarry for some sport and (maybe) traditional climbing too!  All levels of climbing ability welcome! (Yes, beginners too!!) We ask that everyone wanting to come on this trip first go to an awesome walls session on Wednesday with our own Ola Zdral so that we can assess you belaying and teach you anything you need to know before going outdoors! Questions always welcomed!

Finally we have a walking day in the books! We'll be leaving Liverpool around 8am so we can head up to the Lakes and make the most of the day before it gets dark. Hopefully we can fit some scrambling in too for all you keen scramblers! We don't have a concrete location for the walk just yet ecause we eed to keep an eye on the weather, but expect a good amount of uphill, chilly temperatures and great company! The first outdoor bouldering trip of the year! We will be heading to the roaches for some gritstone bouldering! An ideal trip for anyone who is keen to get some outdoor bouldering done! There is quite a range of difficulty but to get an idea of some of the easier climbs, you want to be aiming for about a Blue at the Hangar. Anyone is welcome no matter the ability just be aware that you may not get the most out of the trip as outdoor bouldering is fairly different to indoor.  We will have 2 vans, one 9 seater and one 7 seater. We will be offering pickups from Smithdown and the University Sport Centre. The aim is to leave the University by 8am to get a good day of climbing in. The plan is to be back for 6/7pm.

Hello! We will be going to Ghetto Golf in the Baltic Triangle on the 25th October. It will cost £10 this is for the entrance fee. There is a bar and lots of fun things to do and see..  We really hope you can join us for this and think it will be a pretty great way to hang out with some new pals :)  I need to confirm numbers with the company and pay the deposit so I do need to get the tickets out there pretty sharpish as they need two weeks notice to confirm bookings (which is this Friday). Also there are no trips scheduled for that weekend so you do not need to worry about clashing with trips!

(Also at least one visit is needed if you want to take part in any club trips so I can check you know how to belay). Don't worry if you don't have any equipment, everything except climbing shoes can be provided for you, although you're more than welcome to bring your own! You do need AU membership.

Our first climbing trip of the year takes us to the Peak District! We'll be staying in Carlswalk Cottage in Stoney Middleton for the weekend. We aim to be doing some sport and trad climbing if the weather allows!  Food will be bought on the drive over-we will be stopping at a supermarket for provisions.
