Lowstern (Yorkshire Dales) Weekend Trip

Hi everyone!

We will be running a weekend trip from 6pm Friday 26th November to 7pm 28th November.

We have booked a (beautiful!) hut in Lowstern, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and will be doing a mixture of climbing (potentially with a focus on bouldering due to conditions), and hiking if its wet/cold.

If you do not already have one, you will need to buy an AU membership to come on this trip, there is a post on how to get one pinned on the facebook page.

We strongly recommend you have climbing shoes, as we have a very limited number of shoes and sizes. If you have any issues buying tickets, or questions, feel free to message a member of the committee.

Included in the ticket price will be communal breakfast for both days and dinner for Saturday night. (Message us if you have dietary requirements)

Suggested Kit list:

• Sports clothes for climbing (no restrictive jeans etc)
• Spare clothes for the evenings
• Warm layers (!) (thermals, jumpers)
• Waterproof Clothes (!)
• Hiking/Approach shoes/grippy trainers
• Hat and Gloves
• Lunch (although we will be visiting a shop)
• Water bottle
• Climbing gear (if you have some)
• Sleeping bag & (small) pillow
• Towel and Toiletries
