High Moss Lakes Trip

Hi everyone, we hope you’re all ready for weekend trip round three to the beautiful Lake District! We’re staying at the High Moss hut in the Duddon Valley,. We’re hoping to get out this time and do some hiking, sport climbing and bouldering at St Bees head, hopefully we can catch a lovely sea sunset 🌞 

*YOU WILL NEED AN AU MEMBERSHIP, NO MEMBERSHIP, NO TICKET!*

KIT LIST - 

For this trip, you will need to bring:

• Sleeping Bag (can use a jumper as a pillow)
• WARM layers & Suitable Clothes (waterproof just in case?)
• Lunches for Saturday and Sunday - we will stop at a supermarket on the way. 
• Friday night dinner (or eat beforehand)
• Suitable footwear for hiking and climbing (NOT trainers!)
  • If you are keen on climbing - Please bring your own shoes! We are going to be doing some climbing which is very difficult in normal shoes!
• Any medication you may need (we have first aid kits, but don't carry stuff like inhalers, epipens etc.)

Pick ups by the Vans will be on Friday 

• 6PM at Sports Hall Carpark
• 6:15PM at Smithdown ASDA
