Stoney Middleton Peaks Trip

Hello everyone, it’s time for weekend trip No2 to the Peak District!! It will be a super fun, chiiillll weekend of bouldering and walking. We will be staying at the Stoney Middleton hut in the centre of the peaks. This is a great opportunity to go bouldering on some of the best in the UK (Nice gritstone :P).

The hut we stay in will be pretty small and cosy so please if you have them try and bring a sleeping matt and bag !! It will make the sleeping processes a lot better for all :) It will be absolutely freezing but hopefully sunny. PLEASE make sure to bring lots of warm layers, socks, gloves, hat etc.

KIT LIST - 

• Sleeping Bag (can use a jumper as a pillow)
• Sleeping matt 
• WARM layers & Suitable Clothes (waterproof just in case?)
• Lunches for Saturday and Sunday
• Friday night dinner (or eat beforehand) - breakfasts and saturday night dinner is provided!
• Suitable footwear for hiking and climbing (NOT trainers!)
  • If you are keen on climbing - Please bring your own shoes! We are going to be doing some climbing which is very difficult in normal shoes.
• Any medication you may need (we have first aid kits, but don't carry stuff like inhalers, epipens etc.)

p.s. If anyone has a good speaker and would like to bring it please let us know!! We need to get some good tunes going in the hut 

Transport for this trip will all be by cars (big thanks to all drivers :)) Pick ups will be on Friday...

👹AU MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TRIP👹 - we will be checking before you get picked up - you will be left in the car park if no membership , details on how to get the AU membership are on our instagram.
