Langdale Walking Trip (25/04/21)

READ THIS CAREFULLY!!

First Walking trip of the year to Langdale, Lake District.

All abilities welcome - the route will be around 10km and a little strenous (~4 hours) but we have all day if we need it.

The van will set off early doors from campus (7am) and aim to be there for 9:15am

ESSENTIAL - You MUST have the following to participate

- Face mask (you will need to wear this for travel and when not actively participating)
- FREE LUMC AU Membership
- Waterproof walking boots & thick socks (trainers are NOT suitable)
- Waterproof jacket 
- Walking trousers, Tracksuit bottoms, Warm Leggins etc. NO jeans
- Warm Layers - Fleece's, insulated jackets etc.
- Hat
- Gloves 
- Water bottle - at least 1 litre
- Rucksack for your day things - preferably with a dry bag/bin bag liner to keep your things dry

You must have AU membership and to the best of your ability have a COVID test 24-48 hours before the trip.

If you can no longer attend you must inform the trip leader and not give/sell your ticket on.
