Snowdonia-Mixed Trip-Baen-y-Nant

For our first mixed trip of the year we'll be heading over to the wonderful Welsh mountains! We will be staying in a lovely hut situated in Crafnant valley in Snowdonia, North Wales. 

Not only is the hut surrounded by beautiful views and scenery, it is also right on the doorstep of multiple walks and climbs. We will also have access to fantastic hut facilities, including a very grand fire place!

Please be aware that if you wish to come on this trip to climb then climbing experiencece is desireable, however, not totally necessary. If you would like to climb and have never climbed before then I suggest that you head to one of our Wednesday afternoon Awesom Walls sessions. 

Tickest will be £35 and will go on sale on 29th October (next sunday evening) at 8pm. The link to buy the ticket will be posted on the event page at 8pm on the Sunday.

Mandatory kit & equipment for everyone:
-AU Membership
-Waterproof walking boots
-Waterproof Jacket 
-Waterproof trousers
-Hat and gloves
-Warm Layers 
-Lunch and snacks (These can be bough beforehand or when we stop at a supermarket on the way)
-Headtorch
-A day rucksack big enough for everything you'll need to take (You will also need a rucksack liner or some bin bags to keep everything dry)
-A bag big enough for all your weekend things
-A survivial or bivy bag- (these are cheap and can be bough from amazon)
-Sleeping bag
-Toileteries & towel
-LUMC AU membership

Mandatory kit for climbing:
-Climbing shoes
-It is desirable to know how to lead belay to be able to climb on this trip.
-Please bring any climbing equipment you have with you

-Camera
-Pub money
